As predicted last month, we've seen major growth in the Weston Florida housing market.
In January 2012, there were 55 single family homes sold in Weston, FL up from 32 in December 2011. Prices ranged from a low of $198,000 to a high of $1,400,000. There were 23 more homes sold in January than December. Among the January sales, 22% (12 homes) were short sales.
There was a 72% increase in sales from last month. There are currently 300 single family homes for sale in the City of Weston. We expect Weston real estate inventory will continue to increase as we head into the spring season. There will continue to be more sales in early 2012 with growing inventory and an increase in buyer activity in Weston, Florida.
